Yup, I'm considering selling the AI Sol Whites that I have sitting around and have never used. I just can't stomach looking at these collect dust anymore. I can't afford to spend anymore weekend's and money to have someone make new canopies, try to match stains, etc in order to make these work for me.
I had also considered putting two of them over my FOWLR but figured these lights are probably too nice/expensive and reef capable to put over a FOWLR. I REALLY don't want to get rid of these, but I have many other "needs" that I could be using these funds on.
I got them from someone I ended up knowing and can vouch that they were used less than 4 months before he got out of the hobby. They are basically new, are in original packaging, come with the 60" mounting rails (w/feet) and a controller. The ONLY thing missing from the package are the brackets which separate/connect the mounting rails from one another. (it has the feet instead of the hanging kit)
I have 5 modules. I will only entertain splitting them up if I have buyer's for all 5 plus the accesories. If someone wanted to split with someone else, I know Aquamart carries the controllers in stock for around $80.
$1700 for everything. That's $450 under retail ($2150) and another $170 or so in tax savings (if you had to pay tax). I would assume shipping would be free on these things based on the price?!? I'm going to leave this on here for about a week to see if anyone is seriously interested before I put it on Craigslist.
***FYI...I put "feeler" because if I can figure out how to get some help in making a simple canopy for either or both of my tanks (or an expert at matching wood stains) then I might possibly want to use them. (I SUCK/don't know anything about woodworking, not a handyman) However, if someone jumps on this...I'll honor the price I have listed to be fair. I HAVE to get my builds completed ASAP, before my better half kills me since I need to have some time away from the "build".
