To clarify, this dry live rock, or if cycled, covered in life or bare, pests?

This is live rock from my saltwater aquarium that I just sold. It was in my aquarium for a year so is full of little critters, not pests.

I'm not sure what you mean by shelving rock, but I had the rock arranged so that it made like a bridge of rock with an opening in the center. It is some really good pieces of rock.
