Title pretty much sums it up.

Ive got a pair (not sure if they are a mated pair, but they are a pair) of aptasia eating file fish, they are about 2.3 - 3" in size and are PROVEN APTASIA EATERS, I had an infestation, and I mean serious infestation of aptasia, nothing worked. Added these guys and within a month it was and has since stayed cleared up. They are a great pair, very interesting to watch and they eat frozen food as well. I have not seen either one of them nip at corals, they are very well behaved. Im getting rid of them becuase I no longer need their services, my trigger does not like them very much and has started harassing the smaller file fish, and Id like to finally add my blue hippo tang, which means Ive got to get rid of something.

Asking $70 for the pair, no trades at this time, pretty firm on the price based on the fact they are a pair and they are proven aptasia eaters that have shown no interest in my coral.

Im avalable most of the day off and on, feel free to shoot me a text if youd like to come grab them. P/U in Northglenn only, please bring a bucket.

I think we need to pass these guys around the club. LOL. Since taking my aptasia eating filefish back to the store, I've got an outbreak again. Short of paying for another one and getting almost nothing back on trade once he's eaten back the aptasia, I'm not sure what to do. I hate the idea of buying a batch of peppermint shrimp that may or may not eat them, and who usually die once they're gone. I can't get them all with aptasia x, either.

I agree on passing them around.

We just need a happy FOWLR tank to be their HQ when they're not munching aptasia in one of ours, so they don't develop a taste for corals like mine did. I'm willing to pitch in some money to cover RCs initial purchase.

Fish are gone. I had thought about passing them around, but didnt really like the idea of having to monitor them and their where abouts. Nadking has them now, maybe once he is odne with them he would be willing to re home them to the next person. Thread my be closed
