Hey guys, my roommates boss is breaking down his tank and said that if he doesn't get rid of the fish today he's going to flush them.

He's got a good sized (~6") hippo tang

Another good sized sailfin tang

A coral beauty

Two yellowtail damsels

Two green chromis

I couldn't bear to see him flush them, so I offered to take them all, but I have no where near enough room for them in my 58g. Make me offers on them, I'm interested in zoas mostly, maybe some lps. I'd be willing to trade everything plus some cash for an mp10. Let me know guys, I'm probably going to try to trade these in at aquamart or aquatic art if no one on here is interested.

Is there a nearby LFS? He could take them there instead of the uneeded trip down the toilet.

No LFS here, but I'll be rescuing them and bringing them to AA if chris wants them, about to send him an email

no pics, I haven't even seen the fish myself yet. He said they're all healthy and have been in his tank for a couple years. I just got a call from my roommate with the story, so I talked to the guy and I convinced him to let me rescue them.

Were they in a reef? Wondering if the coral beauty is reef safe.

they were not really in a reef. He only had a couple softies like mushrooms, no zoas so idk if it would be reef safe.

yea I was thinking about keeping the coral beauty, but I didn't want to chance it either. It looks like they may have found a home with nick ambrosio

Ok these guys have a home now, bringing them to nick ambrosio of ambrosio aquatics. Thanks everyone for your help in trying to find them a new home. Glad they won't be flushed.

sent you a pm, nick mostly wants the blue tang, but is also taking the rest of them, so that's why I'm bringing them all to him. makes things simpler, sorry about that. you're also pretty far north.
