Float Valve Recommendation

Hey all -

I have been using Kent's ABS Black float valve for some time now, but they have discontinued it. I am looking for an adjustable float valve that will fit 1/2" acrylic. I have located a bunch, but most do not have a long enough mounting bolt to get through 1/2". It would also be nice to have a 1/4" fitting or John Guest RO attachment.

If you have any manufacturer that you can suggest, I appreciate it. Most of the descriptions do not mention the max thickness, so I already have a couple that are useless.

I have quarter inch and three eighths inch... I'm a supporter of the club and here's the link to my float valves...there is 1/2 inch clarence...

This is the one I bought, although I mounted it to a Brute trash can. In the description it does say

• Tank mount with extended threads on inlet side of valve for mounting through tank wall

I have been using the one made by Esopus for the past 3 years. I like how adjustable it is.

I checked that one out, but the QA section mentioned that 3/8" material would be the max.

I think I am going to just fabricate a mount out of 1/4" acrylic. This is going to be too much of a pain down the road. And, I can use the short one I just bought!
