Free 6-7" Desjardini Sailfin Tang.I have had this guy for over three months and he is doing great. I got him free from someone else because he had a really bad case of stress induced head and lateral line erosion. One side is healed about 75% and the other side of him is probably 30% or more healed. Originally he was in my 125g but he didn't seem happy being all alone in that tank without much rock work or other cover. So he went in the 90g reef. He has been doing awesome. But he really needs a bigger place to live. I will be tearing down my 90g soon to replace the tank and would like to find him a suitable home.
Only rules to get him would be that you have a 110g or bigger mature tank with no aggressive big fish that will harass him. He is good looking now but plans on being beautiful soon.
Great fish at a great price.

Oh it has got a lot better, good work Mike! Sign of a great reefer with excellent husbandry practice. I know there are quite a few new large builds going on so hope you find a great new home for it soon.

He'll be in a 220 with all tangs, fed three square meals a day and a rock hole all his own!

Sounds like he needs to pack his bags. He is yours. Be warned...he loves to eat. He is eating nori sheets, flake, mysis, brine and whatever else I put in for him.

Thanks Chad. Yep, he was even worse when I got him (her?). That first pic was probably 6 weeks or more after I got him. He was pretty bad. He was in a tank that didn't have much rock work or hiding places in with triggers and some other big fish that I guess constantly harassed him. He is going to be good looking soon.

Hey Derek,
I got the tanks swapped around last night and the sailfin is in my 125g just waiting to go to your house. Let me know when a good time to pick it up or meet is.

If taker one does not end up taking him I can also take him. Finished my 180 build (upgraded from 90) about a month and a half ago, looking for big fish to add in it.
