First, I want to say thanks for the hyacinths out pond really needed these. Second, these are really nice and large. We bought a few of these early this season and they never mounted to much. Still not sure if it is a water chem issue or what. By the way, what was the name of that skimmer box you said you saw on CL or Ebay? We really liked the design of yours.

Savio is the company I would run some tests on it also microbe lift makes a comercial version of their bacteria that has plant fertilizer in it already I think its the PBL

That guy with the savio skimmer just posted it again its 250 and its in denver but its a smoking deal

Yes, i've talked to him briefly. he doesn't have the faceplate/weir, or the uv bulbs. From what i can see on the savio site, they all use the same basic container but change the faceplate/weir and include the uv bulbs in the upper models.

yea you will pay more to get that stuff than you will for the skimmer
