FS: 120 tank, stand, canopy and LED lighting for sale

#1
Hoped to sell this as a full system but that isn't happening so time for plan B :)

Oceanic Tech series reef ready 120 gallon (4x2x2) single center weir with dual overflows and returns. Starphire Glass on front and each side.
Also has a SCWD wavemaker on the return lines to alternate the return flow.

Stand and Canopy locally built. Stand has 2 doors on the front and 1 on left side (looking from the front)

Canopy has single door on front that lifts open.

LED system is one I built. LED's are mounted in thick aluminum channels for heat dissipation. It's 8 channels of 3 watt Cree chips each driven by a meanwell driver and controlled by a reefkeeper 2. I designed it to fit on rails in the canopy and it's easy to swing up and back to allow easy access to the tank for maintenance without removing the light. It's also easy to change the LED's out should you want to change the look. It's currently a mix of Royal Blue, Cool white, Neutral White and Warm White LED's and has good color rendering.

Whoever buys this can have first crack at buying the other equipment that was part of the system.

Excuse my mess, this was in mid breakdown and I have so much stuff pilled around I can't get my crippled up carcass in to do a better cleaning of the glass

Looking for 1,000.00 or trade for non reef related items.

Not interested personally myself, but the post is slightly confusing as to what exactly is included and what you have available to be added at extra cost. A bullet point list would help.

I am open to trades and offers. I want to sell the tank before I start parting everything out which is why I listed it this way. Other equipment (besides tank, canopy, stand and DIY LED's) Money I got. I'd really rather do a trade if someone has guns, guitars, reloading equipment, recreational property or hell, I even need a patio cover built and would like to remodel the Kitchen. I can bring cash to a deal if appropriate.

Trigger Systems sump/refugium with split returns so the flow through the refugium can be controlled

SWC cone skimmer rated for 200 gallons, includes avast skimmate collection tank with motor shutoff switch and avast automated neck cleaner

Sicci Return pump rated for 840 GPH

18" Biopellet reactor

Titanium heater

Aquamedics Dosing pump with float switches for ATO setup.

Level lock ATO control in small trash can for fresh water tank (can be plumbed into RODI, has float switch and solenoid control for water level in a single easy to adjust unit)

Aquamedics Kalk Stirrer. Has solenoid valve plumbed in to allow bypass of Kalk to add straight fresh water

Apex lite with PH probe (its a few years old and should be replaced) temp prob and 2 EB 8

Not unless someone happens to want to buy the tank and stand without it. I can't remember who built if for me but it was locally built and he's a member. Post up a thread and hopefully he'll respond.

I am just getting into salt water and am not completely familiar with all you have listed. Other than sand and rock what else would I need
to get this system up and running.

It looks like a very complete system. He states the Apex controller needs a new pH probe. Possibly some new media for the bio-pellet reactor. Rock and sand and you should be able to start cycling this system. I think it is a pretty good deal

+1 I saw this set up in person not too long ago when I picked up a few items from Steve. I think you'll be in a very good spot to get started if you decide to purchase it. Plus Steve is extremely knowledgeable guy and I am sure he'll answer all your questions and address your concerns if you have any.

That is a step above basic setup.

To me basic complete setup is
Tank, stand, lights, sump, return pump, heater, sand and rock
Maybe a powerhead or 2. (this has 4)

That's all you absolutely need (besides water and salt) to get going.

This adds a bunch of cool stuff that's really nice like a controller that helps control/manage everything (apex)
Auto top off to keep the water level consistent (ato)
Dosing kalk essentials with ato (start another thread to ask advice if you decided)
Skimmer for extra filtration
Pellet reactor, again extra different form of filtration (if you go this route ask on a differ thread)

Hope this helps

Water, salt and livestock. You'll also need a RODI for your make up water and the PH probe needs to be replaced, otherwise everything you need is here except for test kits. Oh, and a light for the refugium. I have an LED one I built that went out due to salt spray corroding an Led. Might be able to fix it but it would have to be mounted different to prevent it from happening again. I do have hydrometers I'll throw in for the salt density. This is close to fully automated. You just have to do water changes and normal stuff like cleaning the glass and dump the skimmer collection tank once in a while, I was doing it every couple of weeks or so. I even has some new bio pellets for the pellet reactor.

The sump is a trigger systems I believe its 36x14x16. It has divided returns so you can adjust the rate of flow through the refugium area. I am gimped up and can't get around real well so I had this thing set up for minimal understand work. I have the Kalc stirrer set up so the auto top off can bypass it and add straight water. I have it set up so it will will bypass if the PH goes over 8.3. The tank has a single weir with dual overflows and returns inside of it.

I am still open to full or partial trades on it as well. Guns, Guitars, recreational property (with of course me adding money) you'd be surprised what I might need. Even looking at having my F150 lowered if you are a suspension mechanic.

Sand depends. If you want a 4" layer for wrasses and gobies, then you will need about 15 gallons of sand.

Rock also depends. You will need at least 50 lbs for a tank that size, but you could opt for more depending on how you want to scape it.

I have the old sand I'll give you if you want to clean it up and use it as the base. You'd probably need to add another 60 pounds to it to make a deep bed. Rock is a matter of preference. I had about 160 pounds in it. This is what it looked like when I first set it up. I was asking 2,000.00 for everything. Make me an offer. I cannot help with a move but my son is here and can help but he's got to go out of town on Sunday for a week so...
