I bought 10 last year to set up on my 700 gallon tank. So they have been sitting in my basement for over a year, life kept getting in the way of setting up the tank. Last week I put up four and didn't like the shadows, so I'm going back to Metal Halides.
Just to be clear, I think these are great lights, but for the size of my tank, I think I would need 12 lights to get the right coverage. My tank is 10' x 3' x 3'. So rather than buy more, I'll go back to what I know worked in the past....
