Oh lordy aha. I remember regretting the distance to Rifle for something before returning to glenwood springs for honeymoon.

Interested a bit though not sure I even need it. How did you use yours? Actually in ceiling running out a wall/soffit or whatever? I was kind of imagining just trying to use it directly in basement sliding window frame or nearby after a close run of ducting to window.

It mounts in the ceiling and vents out the side of your house. Just like a dryer vent or bathroom vent. But unlike a normal vent it pushes air out and brings fresh air back in. A necessity for large systems to help deal with evaporation/moisture.
If you decide you would like it I will put you next inline.

Right, I got the idea of an ERV. Just wondering whether I can red neck engineer it to just use my window frame and just hang it in rafters of my basement as I'd prefer not to add permanent holes to side of house.

I'll let anyone else jump on seconds since I'm not strong on it. (Not my highest priority of several atm) but if time is close and schase backs out I'll prolly scoop it.)
