The goby is really timid and peacfull but to be honest the Gramma is a bit aggressive and has killed every fire fish I have tried to put in there with him. He tends to leave sand dwelling fish alone though such as dragonetts and Blennies. How big ids the tank you would be putting it in. I had always read that the Royal Gramma was peaceful but perhaps it depend on how big their habitat is.

I've heard they are hit/miss on being *****s. I've got a 100+ tank, but don't want to worry about trying to get a fish out.

Did you have them in your nano?

Well Ill be honest with you it will definitely be hit or miss. He may not be as aggressive going into an established tank however, but he ruled the roost in my little 28g. He is a fast little mother too so he would be a ***** and a half to get out.

No one else has dibs so hes your if you want him. Just let me know The shrimp we call "bin laden" because hes always hiding in his network of caves and we never see him or now if he is alive or dead. I cant tell you how many times i have thought he was gone then suddenly see him pop his head out for a split second to grab a piece of food several months later.

Heres a pic:
