***UPDATE***

I have one sunburst that would be easy to get to right now in the nano (foot is on the glass). That's it for now...lowest price I'll probably ever do.

Sunburst: (1) Large - $275

Here's some photos (sorry they're just phone pics), wish I had a good camera. These things are awesome in person!

Even though you just bumped Im gonna bump it again, lol. Mine is starting to color up nicely and getting yellow on the tips. It is the highlight of the tank easily.

Thanks for the generous bump and kind words!! Glad it's coloring up. I've noticed they look very different from tank to tank. Lighting absolutely plays a large role in their coloring. The better the lighting the better these guys color up! I got several RBTA's a while back that were completely bleached and it took them months to restore their color, just from bad lighting. I have a couple SB's in an older JBJ Nano with PC lighting right now, and they don't look nearly as good as under better lighting. Very happy to hear yours are getting even MORE stunning!!

Bump. I may be getting a hold of you again for another RBTA this weekend. Mine last night decided to commit suicide by trying to go in to my overflow. So if it doesnt make it ill get a hold of you

Sounds good...mesh netting is your friend. ;) Although I don't practice what I preach! lol...they just end up in the basement the couple of times it's happened. :)

I'm the lucky new owner of one of Evan's nice "Keys Island" Sunburst Nems now. Within a few hours it's already grown big and happy and doesn't even shrink at night! Thanks Evan, can't wait to setup my separate Clown-pair tank with this pretty critter!

Couple guys in an old RC thread said not to house Sunburst & Rose together in the same tank? What are they talking about? You have a bunch all fine together. Or do they just mean the Sunburst deserve their own special tank? Hahaa... #confused

Ok, found a thread with more info about this. Looks like there might be some problem with multiple types when you have lots in the same tank (not my situation). Interesting stuff though, including this guy's cutting propagation log /w pics. Something I wouldn't do, that sounds harsh! I'll let him grow naturally...

Also talked to one of Ki's employees at Key'sIsland. I guess the original was a tiny hitchhiker on some liverock from an area where Nems were prohibited from being harvested, hence their rarity! Ki thought it was just some other critter until it got much bigger and started getting tentacles. ReefCentral's owner even banned Ki's account because they thought he injected it with coloring or harvested it illegally, wow.

Cool story!
