If you have ever wanted to set up a BIG tank, but didn't have $20,000+ to get it done, this is your time.

Due to a pending move, out of state, my roommate has decided to go ahead and sell his aquarium, and even I was surprised by his selling price. The tank details are as follows:

Marineland 300g DD tank - 72"x36"x27"
Custom built steel stand. the stand is powder coated and is built like a tank, it weighs almost 1000 pounds.
90 gallon custom sump
Reef Octopus Regal 300SSS Protein Skimmer
Jebao DCT-15000 return
Mag 24 (used as a backup pump, too loud for daily use)
Reef Octopus Biopellet reactor
Reef Octopus GFO reactor
Tunze ATO with 55 gallon aquarium for reservoir
2 x Jebao RW-20 wave makers with JBWave controller
Milwaukee pH controller
800W titanium heater with Ranco temp controller
Jebao 4 pump dosing pump
3 x 44 gallon Brute cans for water changes (with wheels)
Mag 7 pump (used for mixing saltwater
Jebao DCT-6000 (used for mixing saltwater)
Jebao DCT-12000 (used with the biopellet and GFO reactors)
300 GPD RODI unit with BRS dual DI canisters and booster pump
Custom LED Light
The light was custom welded , designed, and wired by us. It has 456 Cree LED's including:
Royal Blue
Cool White
Cyan
Red
Blue (not currently working)
390nm UV (not currently working)
3 x StormX Controllers (one for each bank of LED's)
Par meter from BRS (plugs into computer)

The light alone cost $4,000 to make. In all more than $20,000 has been invested into the equipment. Jeremy is asking $5,000 for the entire system. He is not looking to part it out, so please don't ask. You all know what this setup cost, so please don't try to lowball, he needs to sell but is not looking to get "raked over the coals" any more than he already is.

Please feel free to ask me any questions, I will respond ASAP. There are still fish in the tank, so it can't go until they are all gone.

Pics will help sale immensely. Going to get more interest if you can get the leds working again. (re-solder or bad diode? etc) Too bad this wasn't posted in Jan, like 80% of that or similiar I just finished buying over the last 3 months.

Pics are in the works. Here are some taken when the tank was still a reef. It is now setup as FOWLR, but is basically the same.

Here is the build thread for this system:

This is the most recent photo I have of the tank, taken about 2 weeks ago.

Did the stand ever get "wrapped" with wood or did it remain exposed?

We had a custom "shroud" made for it. It is made of ABS plastic. Here is a pic I took this morning with the surround on the stand.

Nice. Wish my main floor would support it. Think this would end up in my basement though.

I wish it would too! :)

I really want this to be sold, we don't really want to haul it to Arizona with us. Someone please make us a reasonable offer on it! It is not everyday a system like this is available.

So the jaebo pumps I'd like the 6000 but u have the 15000 priced lower, the 15000 seems like a bigger pump. Just wondering if the prices were wright would think the smaller pump would be priced lower and bigger higher. Hope this makes sence

Thank you for pointing that out. Here is a price correction for everyone:

Jebao DCT-15000 - $100
Jebao DCT-12000 - $75
Jebao DCT- 6000 - $50

That should make more sense.
