has anyone ever had one if so what did you think of it I know its a little pricey but it looks well designed and built I am considering getting one its this or a dos to automate my water changes I'm just worried about how much the dos will have to run to do 50g a week

The only downside to DoS may be the noise. Mine is a bit loud, although I just got the roller replacements, so maybe it will be quieter. I just run it during my work day....

the only thing that concerns me is that the dos would need to run 109 min per day

Is that on full speed? I would be curious to see what Neptune says. They have a great support system. I would be happy to post if you don't have an account.

How big is your system? 50g per week is a lot!!

their website says 250 ml per min on max I have a 500g system so there is my issue
