THE BETTER HALF HAS GIVEN HER BLESSING IN ME GETTING LEDS. MY QUESTION IS I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO GET. I HAVE A 125 6 FEET LONG, 18 INCHES WIDE AND 24" HIGH. I SEE MOST PANELS ARE SOLD IN 120 WATTS. HOW MANY WOULD I NEED TO COVER MY TANK. I HAVE 5 FISH, MOSTLY TANGS AND SOME CORAL LIKE HAMMER, CANDY CANES, MUSHROOMS FROG SPAWN. i WANT TO GET CLAM AS WELL. ALSO WHAT SHOULD THE RATIO BE AS FAR AS WHITE TO BLUE. DONT WANT TANK ALL BLUE. wOULD IT BE BETTER GET ONES THAT WILL DIM? IM HOPING TO GET AWAY WITH ONLY 2 PANELS. PLEASE ADVISE.

Probably going to need 3 panels. Common is 2 to 1 blue to white. Reefkoi sells really nice ones.....why are we yelling?

most of the 120 watt units are 1 watt leds with a tank 24 inches deep you might want the 3 watt leds that_one_guy (Derick) built a nice DIY setup for his tank and he mentioned to someone else that he would build one for them for a small fee. if you went that route you can control the exact color tone you want so that your setup meets your liking. send him a message and give it a shot

you would be spending around $700-$900 on 3 dimmable units when you could purchase 2 of the DIY units http://www.rapidled.com/servlet/the-57/48-Ultra-Premium-LED/Detail and save you some $$$

just my $0.02
