Just a little back story on the gold torch. Ive had it about 2 weeks and it has been doing awesome. Until my Gold stripe maroon clown got into it. He started to try to host it as of yesterday and now it looks like this today. I have the torch protected with a clear bottle with holes so it gets flow and keeps the clown out. do you guys think its going to survive? Also is there anything else i can do to help it survive?

my clowns did the same, the torch looks fine and as though it will recover. you've done the proper steps to keep it alive and save it. Best survival chance.. place it somewhere the clown(s) don't like, chase the clowns away when it gets near it, keep it covered and offer a new "host able" coral nearby until they host, then remove the cover/bottle.

clowns are stubborn, sometimes you have to remove them or the coral, otherwise 1 will die (in the case of nems sometimes that don't want to be hosted but the clown's persistent).
