Been surfing this morning at the school library when I should be studying.

There has been a nice wave of new to the salt water hobby, hobbyist. This hobby can be very over whelming just setting up a tank, not to mention adding fish and coral. Too many, coral is the pride of their tank and fish a close 2nd. So when one factors in coral this hobby can will drive the best of use nuts. So I thought this web page might help some for the newbs and guys like me. It helps with the names and gives a brief description to hundreds of types of coral. This list can help you find out what the heck you just bought or would like to buy and then do research from there.

Jonthefb tried to do something similar to this here, with all the members contributing but it never took off. He started with snails, but I don't want to dig up the thread lol.

Basically, you'd take a picture of the snail and then he had a set list of things you'd need to answer about it. All the experts would come to concensus on wether or not the info was accurate and then he'd delete all the junk from the thread so that it was like an identifying thing. I thought it was cool.
