Went to Elite today, was looking for a sand sifting fish, but ended up with a pink cucumber... Heather swore by them... I just hope it works and my Trigger leaves it alone!!! Anyone with experience with these?

If you already have a tiger tail cucumber! I'm sue it will leave it alone I'd be more worryed that they will starve eachother looking for food!

Depends on tank size and age, new and small tanks will have a hard time supporting these guys, but if you have a dirty sand bed they can help.
I have 2, one black, and one tan, both are around 5 inches and are in a WELL established 75 gallon together.

Tank is a 120gal about a year old now. And believe me, the sand is plenty dirty!! I bought it for that specific purpose (getting/ keeping the sand clean) And that's what heather uses them for as well.

I've had a tiger tail for years. He's great for keeping the sand around the rocks clean! (some outer areas at night).

HOWEVER,... The pink and purple ones (what you have) are OK with intense light (unlike the tiger tails). Plus they are an acceptable color for a reef tank (unlike the tiger tails).

I MIGHT get to see my cucumber as he dashes (if you can call a slow crawl a dash) under the rocks in the morning. YOU will likely see this guy all day long. Plus mine rarely spends any time in the rock work. Yours will be ALL OVER the rocks.

P.S. (LOL) If I'd have had the cash last Friday, YOUR cucumber would be in my tank right now!!!
