Does your regulator have a needle valve, or just the large valve?

the solenoid and the fitting before it where real gunked up , I got a new fitting and bypassed the solenoid and the other fitting, works like a charm now

Be sure and get a new solenoid and save yourself the grief after a power outage. Also, be sure and just a good check valve.

+1 I have ruined several solenoids because of not having a check valve
