On a few occasions now all of my hermits (blue-legged) will congregate, twice on a patch of sand and once on some base rock. They are normally solitary, but on these occasions they huddled up for more than 24 hours showing minimal activity.
I know hermits would be attracted to a large foodsource, like abundant algae, newly added live rock, dead fish, etc. But on these occasions they're just sitting there doing nothing but breathing.
Any ideas? Maybe breeding?
