I would have started at 600 and you want to go to at least 3000 to get that polished look, you have to do it in stages and even 1500 will still give you swirls or glossing. It will take some time and can be a PITA. If i had time i would tell you to drop it off and come back in a week but right now i dont, hopefully someone else will. HTH

I would think that using sand on glass would make it worse.

BIOcudes are glass. I have one and it is glass and all the people I know have glass biocubes. Unless they made some that are acrylic, which could be.

I don't think you can... Get a new tank.

I have a few scratches on mine as well and just look past them.

I think Keys has a used biocube for sale just inside the front door, or at least had one on Saturday. As everyone should know, Ki makes some pretty good deals. So.... I would check there if you are needing a new one. Sorry for the mishap

Man that sucks! :( Biocubes and Nano's are all glass. I haven't ever seen or heard of an acrylic one. I have a scratch on the side of one of mine that I noticed after I bought it...oh well, there forever now. :( Good luck! The one at Key's Island was cheap from what I remember. However, it looked like it had seen better days BUT you never know, once cleaned up maybe it doesn't have a scratch on it!
