Just got my Hanna alkalinty recalled

#1
I knew some batches have been recalled a while back. I thought they had it figured out. Just got an email saying they're sending new reagent in 2 to 4 weeks. Frustrating when you're setting up a new tank and trying to keep your levels in check with lime water. I bought a sps pack recently from the forum and had a blue tenuis rtn overnight. My other sps don't have very good polyp extension and look a little stressed. Now I wonder what my alkalinity really is.

Swanny I would recommend that you get the - Red Sea Reef Foundation Test Kit (Calcium, Alkalinity & Magnesium) as a back up for those Hannah Checkers. Like $50 - $60 on Amazon and BRS if you cant find them locally.

I didn't realize your tank was still so young, I may have talked you out of buying that frag pack. SPS really need an established tank to thrive

Just a new tank setup. All stock was from previous tanks including water. There was no cycle and Params are spot on.
