I watched my clown biting at an acan this morning... Is this normal behavior? Do clowns eat coral too? They aren't starving and I do not know if she actually bit it but it was biting at the feeder tentacle thingies and not the main flesh. I don't see any damage but I moved the acan from their area just incase since the clowns don't wander far.

I have never heard of clown eating corals. I know mine feel the need to "move" corals if they are where they don't want them.... sometimes it is just a matter of a coral being too tall or close to their anemone.

My clowns ended up killing a large open brain after hosting it for several months. They would bite/mouth the brain all the time......
