So I made the idiotic decision of not quarantining my new mandarin goby prior to adding it to my tank. As a result I have gotten an outbreak of marine velvet that killed both the mandarin and my male clown today and my wrasse is showing signs as well. I need to quarantine and treat all of the following fish to prevent a possible full tank wipeout

Regal tang
Flame angel
Yellow tang
Percula Clown
Melanarus wrasse
Carpenter wrasse
Mandarin goby
Wheeler goby

I am assuming given the size of the fish I need no less than a 40 breeder to quarantine all of them and I only have a 10 gallon quarantine tank. Does anybody have anything for sale, loan, or rent that I could use for this purpose? Any advice on treatments that have worked well would be appreciated as well. I am planning on freshwater dips before placing in quarantine, copper treatment for 16 days, and keep the display fallow for 4 weeks.

In all honesty your best bet would be to either buy someone's tank/sump or find a cheap tank online. One of those fish is likely worth more than the tank.

I have a 55 I'd be willing to sell you. Has the stock tops for it as well. Might even have a hob filter if you want it.

How much, and where are you located? If the price is reasonable I can grab it tomorrow after work.

I have a 55gallon tank with stand and 2 external filters. It was setup for fresh water and I just gave my fish away. I didn't even drain the water yet. It has a heater and 2 lights. It will be perfect for quarantine fish.
Let me know if you are interested.

Im grabbing the one from huskyguy, so that is all taken care of. Does anybody have any advice or experiences on treating marine velvet? What brand of copper is best, how long to treat, what percentage of time running activated carbon vs mechanical filtration only, water change schedule, etc. I wanna make sure im on the right track so I have the highest possible chance of success.
