My squamosa is outgrowing my tank! It hosts my pair of clowns and is about 9" in size. If you have been to my home, it is the one in my display that looks like a football. Asking $125. Very healthy, it spends all day wide open. Does not even react to my clowns wallowing around in it's mantle 24/7! Pm me for pics.

i am in parker. the clam has been in my display for over a year. it was about 4" when i placed it in the sand bed. i put a shell below it so it would attach to it and not try to dig down to the glass! at the time i was running 250w metal halides and led strips. about 6 weeks ago i installed a led/t5 combo. the squamosa is probably the easiest clam to keep in captivity. not nearly as light dependent as a maxima. the mantle completely opens up and the edges nearly touch the sand! my pair of clowns will be very upset:torn:
