LF Charity suggestions for the Extravaganza auction

The Coral Extravaganza will be November 8th, and as we have done in years past, we will be including a charity auction. Members can come sell their items in the auction, and a portion of each sale will go to the selected charity. Any items donated to, or sold by MASC will give 100% of the proceeds to that charity as well.

To that end we need to select which charity will be this years recipient, so let me hear your suggestions on your favorite charity. Once we have collected a list of suggested charity's we will narrow it down to 5, or so, and then do a poll to pick the favorite.

We will take any charity suggestion too, but organizations that do good work for Veterans, or Animals likely will get preference.

I don't have any charity suggestions, but see if an organization like Bone Marrow registration, or the like, will come and register people at the event... and encourage the members to get on the registry.

This is kinda reverse charity that might pay off years down the road in a big-time way.

Update - the date has moved to Nov 8th instead of the 15th. Still need suggestion for charity orgs though
