For Sale:
LifeReef VS2-24 venturi-driven skimmer. $125
Bought this skimmer in December of 2014 so it's 5 months old. Through a number of system engineering changes and the overall doubling in size of my aquarium, I felt it necessary to upgrade. I also needed a skimmer that would run in a 9" deep sump and this one is really only supposed to be in 7" of water. Yes, I could have built something to set it on but I had some craigslist $ burning a hole in my pocket...
This skimmer DOES NOT come with a pump but is most happy running with a Mag 9.5 or a Mag 12. They're roughly $100 so even with needing to buy a new pump or reusing one you already have with similar specs, this is a pretty spectacular deal. I paid $489 sans pump for this unit. All o-rings are intact.
