Lowering salinity

Well figured out my ato got knocked down and therefore my salinity is high. Question how quickly can I lower salinity from 1.030 to 1.026. Only have coral no fish for now. Actually have fish in bags I just bought. Please help!

I would just drop it to the correct salinity myself.

Should be fine just to top off with RO to the needed level. That's not a huge swing, although if you leave it at 30 for too long stuff is going to start to suffer

Dropping salinity quickly is ok, it's raising it that you need to go really slowly with. That's my understanding, at least
