MHDSA step up walk

So i know i have been pretty absent from the community for some time. I still consider most of you guys friends and have helped alot. i still have tanks but i am trying to get out of the hobby. i just have no time right now i am working and trying to start a business and be a dad so time is scarce to say the least lol.



So the reason i started this thread is......in October of last year my son was born actually just one day before my own birthday .Also He was born with down syndrome. It was a shock to us as we had not gotten any of the tests while she was pregnant because the risk was just not there. he is healthy and has no life threatening complications(holes in the heart is a big risk for down syndrome babies.) this is the first time i have really told anyone besides family about his condition...and not because i am ashamed but more because i never knew how or what to say. So coming up on Sunday the 23rd is a step up for down syndrome walk in Denver. i know its only weeks away but we just learned of it as well. i am asking if anyone could donate anything towards my sons "team" it would be awsome. Anyone can come walk with us as well all the info is on the page i will link. all the money goes to the mile high down sysndrome association. even a dollar guys really anything helps. we are working on getting t shirts for the team so if you wanna walk let me know and we can get you one. we will be going to some businesses today to ask for sponserships and donations so company logos will be printed on the shirts as well.

Tyson I would like to donate some money to your team. Is the donate form already filled out so all I need to do is select the value and enter my info? Is your teams name cola's team?

As I have told you before man I admire you and your GF strength and ability to stand up against the challenges and be the greatest parents ever, as I know it prob isn't very easy sometimes! Same here Tyson i know how often you guys attend doc appointments and therapy and everything else that's involved. I would like to pitch in as well, i will download the form and get it done. Sorry to here the hobby is on the back burner but the truth is there ARE more important things in life then fish tanks... keep up the determination and great spirits... and remember u guys can come over and hang out even without fish tanks lol

Thank you Derek we have been so busy lately that we barley have time for our selves lol. But my 21st birthday is next month so maybe we can go watch a game or something I know we would appreciate the down time. Chad thank you again and we hope it works out and you can come with. Ha true that. It would be awesome if you could. But I completely understand if your unable to. My sister is due in November and wont come near a mile walk lol
