Moving to MT, breaking down reef

#1
Hi everyone!

I just accepted a job that will be moving us to Montana. I've hired companies to move my reef with my other moves, but Montana is just too far. So, I'm going to break it down and start over when I get there. Every coral in here was grown from a tiny frag. We aren't moving until January, so I've got time, but figured I should get this out there as soon as I can. Certainly some things will have to go before others -- would like to see the clam or some of the easier to access corals go first. The tang/shrimp/brittle stars will be tough to catch until others are gone. It will be BYOB -- bring your own bucket. I live in South Aurora, roughly Buckley and Orchard. I'm off all week so availability is pretty easy.

All pics taken with a point and shoot, under 14,000K Phoenix MH, no actinic supplementation. Hard to get good pics in a bow front, and I'm not photographer. So feel free to let me know if you'd like to drop by for a better look.

Caulerpa taxifola (sump) Free

There’s over 100# of live rock, but most of it will go home with corals. Everything left $2/#.

Once the livestock is gone, can help yourself to live sand. I’ve had a remote DSB in the sump for a little under a year.

All hermits, snails, etc. free to good home once the rest is gone.

I am starting to setup a refugium so, if there is any of your sand and macro algae available I'll raise my hand, it will probably be some of the last to go as it sounds but if there is a little left it will help me to finish hooking it up.

Hi everyone. All corals and clam are pending, frog spawns already have one person next in line. Live sand and caulerpa going to LiquidDescent, but there are enough for another lot of those as well.

Go ahead and reply or PM if you'd like any further info or to be next in line for anything else.

Put me down for the purple Tang. I am just waiting on my wife to approve it. I can give you a solid answer in a couple of hours, and pickup tonight or tomorrow.

I just want to make sure she still wants one.

Ok, full lot of corals fell through. Those that are 2nd in line and got replies from me, you're now up and ready to go.

pikemartin -- I don't, and I'm keeping all equipment anyway.

I guess I am going to have to back out on the purple tang. The wife is not willing to give up the yellow tang in the tank, or the hope of putting a Hippo tang in there in the future.

Sorry for the false alarm.
