All fish are pending sale.

as far as what I'm looking at there are a few I'm considering. Steve at Stone Aquatics has a nice bandit and crosshatch I've had my eye on for a while. I was toying with the thought of a gen tang, but I think my black tang would beat it up. So... I'm seriously contemplating a Clarion Angel. I want to really thin my tank out and make sure everything is good for about 6 months with adding anything (hard for me). And go from there. I want to get a different sump ( if you have a huge one let me know, otherwise I will probably get one made). Until I actually do it I'm all talk, butt wife is actually on board. Her one request was "if you do this I don't want to see another damn fish come in to this house for a year!" That actually sounds reasonable to me!

Crosshatch are fantastic fish. Easy going and out all the time. If you get a pair, they will bring out the colors in each other. They need a big tank - my 240 was not big enough for them IMO. I had a bandit pair once - cool, but they are like other smaller angels and hid a lot. I think that most people can leave them once they get over the novelty. ...kinda the same with a Gem Tang... nothing special after a while. I would much rather have a black than a gem. In any case, you can't hardly mess this up and are all cool fish. When I worked at the fish store in college, we could get wild Clarion all the time from Baja for like $19 wholesale - they get quite mean very similar to a queen angel.

Here are some other really cool fish that most people have never seen that you might like:
Watanabei Pair with a true alpha male (not just a changeling)
Chrysurus Angelfish
Dragon Eels are cool if you have a lid and suitable tank
Goldenback Trigger
Mustard Tang
PinkTail Trigger - I know that these are not uncommon, but such a friendly and cool fish that nearly nobody, They are not expensive either

I have had all of these and they are really cool. Goldenback gets large too, like a crosshatch.

If your fish store has a good relationship with the collector, they can get 4" crosshatches that are distinct male/female. They collect some nearly every week, but the best customers usually get those. Ask if they can get this done - they look like they buy enough fish.
