Need advice on how to move my tank to a new location

#1
Hi all, I have a 65 gal mixed tank. Next month I will be moving to a new house but first I have to move to a temporary location for a week or so. I'm looking for any advise/suggestions on how to do this without stressing my livestock.

thanks in advance.

Get a 55 gallon food grade drum. Transport all the contents of your tank to the tempory location using 5 gallon buckets with lids. Water, rock, fish, corals. Put it all into the 55 gallon drum. Run a few circ pumps and power filters(fresh water filters) in the drum. You could also usr bag of filter media in the drum for phosphate of nitrate removal. Corals can even survive without light for a few weeks as long as you acclimate them when you put lights over them again. When you have your house set up your and use the water in the drum to fill it. That would be the best way. IMO
