Need Advice Regarding Seeding a Soon to be Reef

#1
Ok, so here is my issue. I have just finished my 40b build and being that I am using dry rock I need a method for "seeding" my rock and sand bed. I have a 14g Biocube running, stocked with both medium/large colonies in addition to many frags. This tank I seeded with standard LFS live rock, although that brought some undesirables such as bristle worms and nuisance algae. For this reason I would like to avoid using the established rock in my current Biocube and use an alternative seeding method. Here is where I need some assistance, I have no problem finding some stellar, premium LR that satisfies my needs. Although I will just introduce the worms and bryopsis when I add the colonies and frags, is dipping them then adding satisfactory or would a close inspection and according removal be superior.
Thanks
