Short story; SICCE pumps suck. I wont be buying another of their pumps. Second pump in a row that the motor seized for no apparent reason and this latest pump was only 3 months old.
Fortunately I had a tiny little eheim pump that, even with a broken impeller shaft, still works like a charm. This pump however only does about 150gph, so it works okay temporarily but I need to up it to around 500-700 gph

Does anyone have a submersible return pump for sale in that flow range? Or know which one of our sponsors has ehiem or rio pumps in stock?

Sorry for your luck with Sicce, they are usually quality pumps. We have a few in that flow range that might work for you including reef octo, nyos and Sicce. I'm not there right now but we may have others as well. I use a reef octo on my 120 for 4 months or so and it's been a great pump. We also use several nyos pumps and they are great pumps for an ac pump.
