need help with drip dosing

I am trying to drip dose I have a kent aqua doser my problem is that I get it setup to where its dripping good then I come back later to find no drips gathering. Any help? I am using seachem kalk mix and 5 gallon aqua dosers and yes I have the vent open and they are above the sump

I use to use a 2 liter tuperware container, and the same thing would happen. Kalk really builds up. How I fixed this was to modify where the hole was drilled and tapped, so the line came out on the side about 1.5 inches up (not the bottom like before). So when I would make up a batch of Kalk, I'd leave it overnight to settle, then the next morning start dripping the clear solution. Since all the muck settles at the bottom, this helped me out a lot.

my hole is already up about 2 in on the side :( think I'm going to order pumps went in there this morn no drip moved the valve a little and drips

I have tried several drip dosers. Including DIY type. What I found was that as the level went down, so does the pressure pushing fluid. I ended up trying a siphon instead of drain. It still was not very stable.

So I can take a pic later, but I don't have a nozzle that pinches, it is one that comes with a power head and was used to adjust air intake. It screws in so I've found that as the container lowers, the pressure is the same since it's gravity fed.
