Has anyone here actually kept these for more than a few months? I havent heard good sucess rates even with automated fish feeders. Beautiful fish, just hope it doesnt starve.

I have successfully housed a Moorish Idol in my previous 125 for about a year and another in my current 225 for about a year. They both ate just fine. A lot of their success in captivity is traced back to NLS pellets through a auto feeder. Here is the story with my 1st one:

Both were removed after a year of being reef safe to becoming not reef safe. That is just my story with them though, many have kept them for years without bothering corals. I will probably try another one at some point, its my favorite fish.

The primer on RC is a good read as well.
