Looking for a Nuvo 16 owner.

Do you think it would be possible to essentially slide the back divider forward say 1 inch? I'm not sure how their system is all attached, I assumed it was glued. I'm trying to determine if I can move it all forward (break old glue, then reglue) to accommodate a nano skimmer and reactor in the back.

TIA

You could but then your baffles would be useless. There are skimmers and reactors that will fit in the filter area without making any changes.

Well, I heard about the one up at AM. Been debating but seems like the Nuvo is too much work.

With regard to the skimmer and reactors, the IM gear doesn't see to have great reviews, so I wanted to drop the new Cadlights gear into it. Seems like the Cadlights tank is a full go !

I'm satisfied with how my IM skimmer works. I have been meanin to get one of the reactors cause I know a few people using them and they like how they work.

I have a nuvo 16 and the back plate is held in place with silicone. Mine came loose when i drained the display side and left water in the back. If you are moving it forward, you might want to consider doing more work as there are those dead zones under the right and left side that you can't get to and is just a waste of space.
