I didn't realize that some of you may not be able to see this on ReefCentral.

I bought it used (with the unions glued on) - took it apart to clean it up and grease the drum. Runs very quiet. I used it less than a week in total. Closed loop.

Drum rotation is Ports #1 & #5, then Ports #2 & #6, then Ports #3 & #7, then Ports #4 & #8

I actually have two of these - identical. Both with the unions glued on and both work excellent. I never used the 2nd one, just cleaned it up and greased the drum. I bought it used also - for a backup.

What type of application is this for

alternating random flow on a closed loop system. Basically a little cylinder turns in the middle directing flow to different outlets as it moves. So for this one you could have up 8 outlets coming from a closed loop pump and this will cycle the flow between them. Its another way of making random flow.
