Office Tank Suggestions

#1
Hi all!

I've got a question for those with larger tanks. My boss has recently surprised me with the idea of possibly keeping a fish tank in our office, which would be kind of a pet project for our small team. There's a fairly negotiable budget and I would like to explore both saltwater and freshwater options. The idea is for it to be fairly low maintenance, while being able to keep a variety of fun looking fish.

This would be a new experience with a larger tank for me (I've had a 14 gallon biocube for 4 years with a pair of clownfish and corals). I am thinking somewhere in the 25-40 gallon range for this one, and I'd like any references to companies I could contact for custom builds if you have any suggestions :)

Thanks for your thoughts!

You could try aquatic art as well. Honestly, a 40 gallon tank isnt any harder than a nano, just more upkeep. If your company doesnt mind a maintenance contract and 20-30 bucks a month on electricity, a 75 gallon would make a wonderful show piece if part of the purpose is to please clients.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life, and you can PROVE it mathematically.

If you're looking at a 40 breeder you might as well consider a 65. If you look at going up to a 75 you might as well go with a 90 or a 120. Once you begin looking at how much space some of the tanks take up you start playing a dangerous game!

I do stand by my first statement though. I have always preferred deeper dimensions front to back and too to bottom.
