Opinions on ultra fine sand?

I went to California for Christmas and loved the sand so much that I snagged about 3 gallons of it for my new 15g tank. I'm curious if anyone has some experience with it and wants to say whether they like it or hate it?

I know it can get pushed around by pumps but If I keep the pumps up high I think it'll be ok.. maybe haha. Opinions?

So I'm assuming you wouldn't use it again? Haha

I'd put it in a glass jar, top it with a couple of shells, and small souvenirs (beer cap, drink umbrella, etc), and put it on a shelf.

Haha yeah.. I was thinking about making it into a sand fountain or something. We'll see! Thanks for confirming my worries lol.

You can never put the pumps up high enough with ultra fine sand! Looks pretty when you first put it in but that's about it.
