Pair of Black and White Percula Clowns FS

#1
I am looking at selling my pair of black and white clowns, the female is about 3 inches the male is maybe 2.5 inches. I bought them about 4 years ago but they have really gotten too big for my 28 gallon nano. Please put up some numbers or pm me if any of you are interested in the pair. Lots of pictures of them on my profile page.

Are they not hosting those nems? If not I may be interested. Already have a pair of true percs in the tank that currently host a huge BTA, if the black and whites arent hosting I dont have to worry about competition any issues. How much you tryin to get out of these little guys?

They aren't hosting and I have had the anemones in the tank for 3 months. Im not sure what a fair price is for them, I bought them when they were half an inch or so for around $60 each. Their faces turned completely black from orange about a year ago.

In all honesty Im not entirley sure. I think alot of it depends on exactly what type they are. Looking online Im finding prices anywhere from $20 all the way up to $60.

black and white clowns are ocellaris. I don't think I've ever seen a pair of black and white true percs.

Nice looking pair of fish though :)

Live aquaria has them listed as both names and go for $60 for medium size.My guess knowing neptunes is they have them labeled correct and they are true percs. Even if your torn on what they are its a black and white clown that go for $40-60 as a medium size. These were black and white when juvenile and had orange faces the black and white ocellaris I have seen are orange as juvenile and turn black and white.
"The Black and White Ocellaris Clownfish, also known as the Black Perc, Black Percula Clown Anemonefish, or Black and White False Percula Clown and is normally found in association with anemones on the reefs of the Coral Sea. It can be found individually, or more commonly, in pairs or small groups within the same anemone such asHeteractis magnifica or Stichodactyla mertensii. These tank bred clownfish grow to a maximum size of 3 inches in the aquarium, and may be kept singly or in groups."

Thanks again for the clowns and the delivery. They look very nice and are loving the bigger aquarium to roam in.
