I have a frag of Pink Zippers I would like to give out to be picked up at Reef Ed. Based on Cindy's winning idea I would like to ask for a favorite quote.

Write down your favorite quote from anyone well known in world history and please tell me why you chose this quote. It can be funny, intellectual, witty or even life changing. You may have one entry and the contest ends at 8pm tonight (6/21) I will be at Reef Ed in the morning and will leave sometime in the afternoon so if you win please make sure you can grab it during the meeting.

This contest is open to anyone, even non members, who can meet at reef stock and hasn't won anything from me in the past. I do this only to spread the wealth and there are some who have won multiple times from me.

This 2 polyp frag was cut almost 2 months ago and has gone well beyond healing and is already growing more polyps.

I think the is an AA saying. I had a very respected man ( at least in my life) tell me this. To me it means slow down focus on the day at hand and don't worry what tomorrow brings.

This quote has a great deal of value in my life. While in college at UNC, my roommates and my cable got shut off. So, we watched this movie for countless hours. When we would go out to parties, which was quite often, I was usually very reserved when it came to talking to the girls. My roommate would always bust out this quote to give me the extra encouragement I needed to go talk to the girls.

"There's this passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is The Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee." The passage is actually from the title scroll of the 1970s martial-arts film Karate Kiba. It is indeed partly based on Ezekiel 25:17 – "And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them" – but where the bit about the shepherd and the tyranny of evil men comes from is unknown. I been saying that **** for years. And if you heard it, that meant your ***. I never gave much thought to what it meant. I just thought it was some cold-blooded **** to say to a mother****er before I popped a cap in his ***. But I saw some **** this morning made me think twice. See, now I'm thinking, maybe it means you're the evil man, and I'm the righteous man. And Mr. 9mm here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous *** in the valley of darkness. Or, it could mean you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. I'd like that. But that **** ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd."

I think this really applies to anything in life... Our family lives, careers, things we like to do... This is exactly why I am addicted to this hobby! Just decided to give it a shot...
