Have my rodi system up and hanging. I just need to find a way to connect the 1/4 inch tubing to the (I think) 15/16ths sink spout (like where you wash your hands in the bathroom). I can't hack into any pipes which is why I have to do this.

Does anyone know how I can do that? I already tried melting the pipe to fit it into a bigger adapter but the metal vs plastic just leaks..

Help!!

This is the male end that fits into the sink.

Yeah I don't want to tap into any lines.. just screw on and off.

You mean the tap is called a saddle valve?

Have you looked at Home Depot and Lowes for a possible adaptor? I know they carry the 3/4" spigot to 1/4" compression. You may have to do two adaptors, say a 15/16" to 3/4" and then a 3/4" to 1/4" compression. I think your best bet to find something like this is probably Ace Hardware or McGuckins since you're relatively close to Boulder.

You need to get either one of these to connect to a faucet.
The first one you will need a hose adapter, preferably a metal one.
The second one screws onto the faucet and allows you to use the faucet while the rodi is hooked up.
Maybe a hardware store will have these.

Yeah I ended up tearing apart a sink flexible tip adapter that went to a 1/4 inch. So I melted the 1/4 line to fit over the metal, but it leaked.

I actually was able to find the "diverter" that WatercolorsGuy posted (2nd pic) off of BRS (couldn't find it on the site, but google found it somehow haha)! So I should be able to find an adapter for that. Thanks for the help guys!
