So I set the tank up And got plumbing hooked up but I have a leak where the bulk head meets the pvc. Can I just run a bead of silicone around it.

Yeah...if there's no pressure it should be fine. Mine did this too but my sump sits directly under it so I just let it drip...within a week it plug itself up with a salt layer.

What about that loc tite epoxy? I use it for mounting coral, I think it is actually for plumbing leaks. Lowes

Good idea I will look into that. I do have silicone laying around though and its not huge leak its just a slow drip.

If your using slip bulk heads i would wrap the pvc in plumbers tape and then reinsert it. If your using threaded bulk heads then apply the plumbers tape around the threads. This has worked for me in the past.

Ya i didnt have much choice its a slip bulk head and already had some pvc glued in. I guess i try either epoxy or silicone and hope it works otherwise its new bulk head and start over.
