Poop Question

My 60f tank accumulates a lot of poop on one spot each week, I siphon it out thru a makeshift canister filter. Was wondering if it's collecting there due to inadecuate water flow or not a good enough cuc? I have another pump I can add to the system if that would help keep it suspended and move it into my overflow to my filter socks.

It's due to a dead spot created by the frag rack obstructing the flow. You'd have to point something blowing directly on that spot

You could also try drilling some holes in the sides of the rack to allow some flow. You'd probably still get some accumulation there though.

Just siphon it out at water changes like all the vendors do. Seems like an easy spot to clean.

It is. Just wasn't sure if I needed to address a root cause of if this was ok. Seems to be the consensus that it's ok. It gets that much in two or so days. It's low flow, Lps are all right there in low flow low light under the rack but may have to move them to a different spot now if that's going to collect there. Never had a bare bottom tank before so it's all "new" in a sense.
