No back ups, so far it's been 1 hr and tryen to get done w work so I can head home! I have had it go out before for like 2 hrs so that's when I'll head home if it's not on.

I would get a gen there asap. It really depends on the amount of livestock, but you have about 4 hours for a heavily stocked tank before dissolved oxygen starts getting dangerously low if you dont have any pumps on backup battery. Lack of flow for that long could start killing corals as well.

Is anyone home right now? You could have them manually aerate the water and give some flow to corals with a pitcher or tupperware just to err on the side of caution until you get there with a gen.

Do you have an adapter for your car from 12v to 110v? That way you can run an extension cord to the tank and use an air bubbler and/or a pump!

I do t but have a big enough generator that I'll just plug my cords direct.
