I have some kind of wierd clear mucas (snot) that forms on my ph probe. I use a toothbrush almost daily to remove it, usually at night to make sure my controller can stop dosing kalk if my ph gets too high. My nano will get the same type of snot on the ph probe, but usually only if i dont clean my probe for extended periods of time (3 - 4 weeks). Anyone else get this, any ideas?

Not really "that fast", really just try to get it clean in case i forget a night, and to get as accurate a readding as i can. I would take about 3 days to actually develop a big enough glob to drop my ph by like .2

Clear "snot" sounds like dinoflagellates...
Had to look it up :) Definitely seems like a similar description, but the only place it develops is on my ph probe, and I mean on the actual sensor bulb. Will have to look into it more when I get home, and actually make sure it's not anywhere else. It almost seams like the probe is leaking clear jelly.

Hmmm... Maybe your probe is leaking or is cracked and the minute amount of voltage is causing a reaction in your tank?
