Profanity Filter?

I looked over all the profile settings and did a forum search first, but didn't get any hits. Is there a place to turn off the profanity filter, like on other boards? Or is it permanently on, here on MASC? Thanks.

Sorry we have a permanent profanity filter as we have lots of families and younger members we would like to remain respectful too. Lol you don't like the $%@*?@- symbols?

All good, completely understand. Just wondering if I couldn't find it. I'm usually on car/bike/truck forums, so of course anything flies, lol.
