quick aqua lifter math question

I just wanted to double check with everyone. I am going to do an aqualifter for my ATO setup, instead of a float switch. I currently lose 1.125 gallons per day on my tank. The aqua lifter pumps 3.5 gallons per hour. Therefore you get an answer of .32 of an hour right? And if so that would come out 19.2 mins out of the hour right? I just want to make sure that my math is correct at this hour lol. Just let me know what math you guys are doing and if my math is correct.

Looks right to me. Aqua lifters are not super accurate so you may have to adjust this based on your pumps actual flow

Why dont u just get a float switch there like 10 bucks , your evap rate will change daily dependant on ambient humidity's and temperature.
