I finally got my reefbrite xho last night. I searched around, contemplated lots of options and had gonzo order me the light a couple of weeks ago. Josh has the best prices on these lights and always takes care of me.
Well as soon as I got home with the light I opened the package and plugged the thing in.... Nothin! Sad day. I texted Josh who was willing to let me try one of his power sources and figure out the problem! Cool offer! After fiddling around with the power cord I got the light on! Holy $hit this thing is bright. Now I also knew the power source and not the fixture was the problem.
I called reefbrite on an off chance I would get in touch with someone. They not only answered the phone on the first ring but were really cool about the whole thing. They shipped out another power source within an hour and e-mailed me to tell as well as called and left me a message! To me that was about the best anyone could do!
Meanwhile, I am able to wiggle the cord and get the lights on till the new source comes in. My tank has never looked better! If you are thinking about a supplemental led or actinic of any kind get the reefbrite! You will not find a better alternative. IMHO
